Community Naloxone Training
Healing Corner hosts a community Naloxone training every third Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
This presentation is open to anyone in the community that may have an opiate user in their life with the risk of an overdose. This training provides opiate overdose prevention education, how to identify an overdose, and how to use and administer Naloxone (overdose reversal drug). Participants will be provided with a Naloxone kit at no charge.
This training is a service of the Waukesha County Heroin Task Force's Harm Reduction Pillar, with champion support from the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin Prevention Department providing the Naloxone.
